As a family physician with over 40 years practice experience, I feel no justification for governmentally mandated provision of free contraceptive care by insurers under ObamaCare. I find that the more government intervenes to shield citizens from responsibility for health care decisions, the less capable our nation's citizenry becomes in deciding appropriate life style choices. Let's change our health care emphasis from "get out of jail free--dodge the bullet" to "I take responsibility for my life style choices." I esteem most persons who consistently critically evaluate life choices, then accept risks inherent in their choices.
Therefore, to deny exceptions of conscience for thoughtful employers to eschew "free" contraceptives is grossly paternalistic and shows flagrant disregard for the diversity of our populace.
Please back off from proposed trampling of freedom of religious conscience (which should be expanded, not deleted).
