It is wrong to punish someone financially or otherwise for not maintaining insurance. Insurance is a "what-if" gamble on incase you should have health issues. Many years ago insurance did not exist. People paid for health services only when they needed it. Since when does the federal government have the right to tell me I have to spend money on a "gamble" if I don't want to, and then charge me a financial penalty if I don't. Every Senator, Congressman and President should have to submit to every law that the general public has to abide by. Maybe then they might consider how it affects their rights as an individual.
