By including Sub-Contractors, the DOL is expanding their reach and now attempting to impact small businesses. I have always felt the the role of the Federal Government was to remain neutral and let the employees, employer and union sort out whether or not there would be a Union. If it were not for Public Employee Unions, then Union membership would be less than 8% of the total workforce or even LESS--there is a reson for this and the Unions can only blame themselves; they are just as bad as the theives on Wall Street or the Politicians in Washington.
The new administration is totally one sided in favor of Unions and is completely ignoring the private sector/ ignoring the history associated with Union miss-management of their membership's funds/ and believes that expansion of Union Membership will lead to prosperity--nothing could be further from the truth...
this is another intrusion inside of private companies on behalf of the Unions and is one sided and only meant to advance the Unions at the expense of employees and their employer.
