Re: MARAD – 2011 - 0108 To Whom It May Concern We have no objection to the request for a waiver to commercially operate the vessel EUREKA in the San Francisco Bay, California areas and along the Oregon and Washington coasts. However, we request that any waiver granted to the EUREKA should expressly deny authority to carry passengers for hire and/or offer tours or other commercial services in Alaska waters as there are more than enough US - flag vessels operating and available for hire in Alaska, including our own US - flag vessels. We feel that authorizing additional foreign built vessels to operate in Alaska would be detrimental to our business and to the businesses of others. Sincerely Matt and Heidi Cline Aquetec LLC
