Re: MARAD – 2011 – 0138 - 0001 To Whom It May Concern We have no objection to the request for a waiver to commercially operate the vessel ACERO AZUL in the waters off California, Oregon and Washington. However, we request that any waiver granted to the ACERO AZUL should expressly deny authority to carry passengers for hire and/or offer tours or other commercial services in Alaska waters as there are more than enough US - flag vessels operating and available for hire in Alaska, including our three own US - flag vessels. We feel that authorizing additional foreign built vessels to operate in Alaska would be detrimental to our business and to the businesses of others. Sincerely Matt Cline, Aquetec LLC
