While I appreciate the need to cut hours (I am a librarian myself) for savings, I think it is unfortunate that NARA is looking to eliminate all nights and weekends. I would suggest that you follow the model of the NARA regional facilities and maintain at least one evening and selected Saturdays. This would be helpful, not only for the researchers who live in the DC area, but also for those of us who have to make a special trip to DC to use the facilities there. comment submitted
