Federal Records Management; Revision

Overall, we think the revisions to the current NARA regulations on Federal records management are good and much needed. The language is easier to read and it is well organized. The changes will, however, create a lot of work for us because of the reorganization and renumbering of the regulations. We'll have to review all our documents (policy, procedures, guidance, web site, presentations, etc.) to be sure we are referencing the correct section of the CFR as well as incorporate any changes in the content.
