Researcher Identification Card

I think that the rule proposing that a researcher identification card be required at the National Archive Building in Washington, D.C. is a helpful revision of existing standards. I think it will aid the National Archives in maintaining more accurate tracking of what research rooms are being utilized and what resources researchers are accessing. However, I am skeptical as to whether it will increase security at the National Archive Building.
