In the rear moving barrier modifications, the barrier face is to be lowered by 50 mm to simulate brake dive. Since this is a modification of the FMVSS 214 side impact barrier, was not the face lowered (for brake dive) in the initial design? Lowering the face again would double the designed brake dive correction. I suggest that the barrier face not be lowered an additional 50 mm from the 214 design.
