I wish to comment that I feel High-Intensity Discharge headlights should be banned from use in the US. In the area where I live, a number of recent-model German and Swedish cars have these types of headlights, and it is absolutely blinding and hazardous to drive in an opposite direction to such cars, particularly on relatively dark local roads where the risk of people and/or animals walking in or crossing the roadways is highest. One might as well try to drive with eyes closed as drive looking at the "HID" headlights... regards CHristopher Bourdain Larchmont, NY 10538
