Docket No. NHTSA-2011-0174 Agency: National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Department of Transportation Addressing safety issues arising from increasing variations of keyless ignition controls and the operations of those controls. The NPRM prosal to standardize the operation of controls that are used to stop the vehicle engine that does not involve using the physical key. You also propose an audible warning to drivers who attempt exiting the vehicle with out following safety standards. I very much agree with the safety standards you would like to implement and for the safety of drivers and passengers I hope this standard is passed.
