This should not be put into effect. People already feel safe in their vehicles. I find it outrageoud that a vehicle (appliance?) needs to be simplified more than: one pedal go, other pedal stop. There are numerous things that every driver should know how to do incase of a stuck throttle. Also tests have shown that even very powerful vehicles haves brakes that are more powerful than the engine, allowing the vehicle to come to a stop when both the brake and the throttle are applie.
