We, the United States World Trade Organization (WTO)/Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT) Inquiry Point respectfully request and extension of comment date on behalf of the EU-WTO-TBT Enquiry Point, European Commission. Please see official request below. We are also submitting the request through http://www.regulations.gov per the federal register notice of December 4, 2012, Docket No. NHTSA-2012-0174. Please see request: Dear Sir or Madam, The EU has noted that the above-mentioned notification of 14 December 2012 mentions 3 January 2013 as a final deadline for comments. In order to give the EU sufficient time in line with the TBT Agreement to analyse the draft, the EU would kindly like to invite the US authorities to extend the deadline for comments to 12 February 2013.
