\\Sarcasm on// Why don’t we take this to the next level? Make it mandatory for all registered vehicles to not only have a EDR installed but have it GPS and wifi or 3G enabled and allow it to collect the unique Identification (IMEI) numbers of all the cell phones in the vehicle. Then you could have TSA/DHS check points (VIPER TEAMS) like toll booths set up at different spots on the freeways with remote interrogators installed. As you approach the check point the remote system captures your license plates, a photo of the driver and interrogates the EDR. If you have driven over the speed limit or your vehicle doesn’t meet EPA standards or whatever else you can think of, you get a ticket. At that time we can just go ahead and ask citizens for their ‘papers’ and perform random searches of vehicles and persons. Now you can have complete command and control over the sheep I mean people. You will know where they came from, where they are going, how they have behaved while they are “free to travel” within the United States. All you have to do is say that a Free Citizen traveling from one State to another has an effect on interstate commerce, because we all know that when a Citizen travels across State lines and spends money in another state (Food, Gas, Etc.) it affects interstate commerce… \\Sarcasm off// Stay out of my personal Life.
