dkt 070612190-7326-01 - noaa rin 0648-av58 - 2008 atlantic tuna quota
the scandal plagued us dept of commerce noaa division plans quotas for catching
bluefin tuna, already terribly overfished.
the tac should be a maximum of 100 mt and even that is too much to be allowed.
this species is desperately overfished.
there should NEVER be any carryover if allegedly "underharvested" because the
lying that the commercial fish industry does is huge. the figures on what is being
taken every year are far far over what is reported taken. this industry is intent on
taking every fish from the sea and killing every whale and dolphin who needs that
fish to stay alive. they are finding the whales skinny now. they are finding the
sharks just about gone too.
noaa also is not standing behind their alleged "observers" and teh
alleged "observers" report endless harassment from commercial fish operators
who want them to lie. you can be sure there is lying with the observers because
when you are on someone' else's boat and they tell you to do something, what is
youir choice. you need cameras on the boats. youi need people at the dock
counting what comes in. that is truth. nothing else going on these days is truthful.
this is all a big scam on the pubic and a raping of any fish stocks that our children
have a right to have in their world.
