To whom it may Concern: The proposal that you have in mind is not the answer to
the fish stocks or any other problem for that matter. It will hurt a lot of people. The
for hire business is made up of charter captains and families that love sport fishing
and want it to be healthy for years to come. They look forward to meeting people
that have never experienced the ocean or catching a fish of a lifetime are not just
out to make a buck. They went through a lot to get their licence with testing and
USCG regulations and money they put into their business to get it going it would
be a devastating financial loss to them and the community has to be a different
way to achieve what they are after. Our community thrives on tourism and a
majority of that is charter fishing during the summer. If this goes through it will hurt
not only the Captains but our local economy also.Since their will not be enough
charter boats to run.People will not come to our area. Thank
You "Finest Kind Charters"
