I have been a member of the Coast Guard Reserves for over 20 Yrs. I thing it is a
shame that the goverment has gotten to the point of charging people to
recreationally fish. This looks like a great money maker for the State and another
way to suck more money out of the residents. This is the only relaxation and
enjoyment most people get and now you want to charge people that may not be
able to aford it. Please explain to me what these people are going to see in return
for their investment other than someone coming up with a graft and chart showing
the number of fish Joe next door caught on his one or two days a week or month
he may get to relax. You allow Draggers to contiue to fish, limit their catch and
force them to dump tens of thousands of pound over the side dead and call it a
good way to replenish the stock. Give the every day person a break and let them
fish for fun as they always have for free.
