I am strongly opposed to any license fees for saltwater angling.... especially when the fees will be collected at the state level.... do any states perform stocking of anadromous species such as striped bass ? How can they charge a fee for doing nothing, they would be better served by enforcing size and catch limits if they are concerned about the health of the individual species... I have been fishing for striped bass for over 20 years.. I only fish saltwater... it is a sport to face weather, surf , wind and smart fish... I catch and release ... why should I have to pay a fee for something that was not put into the ocean nor is replenished by man.......
