To whom it may concern, I would like to express my feeling on the laws governing
the size and quota of summer Flounder. I am a 73 year old fisherman and I do not
understand the disparity between Jersey and New York limits, they are exactly the
same fish separated by less than one mile in some areas. I remember fishing with
my father over the years, and there were less fish then than now and the size was
14 inches with quite a number bag limit. I don't think I caught more than eight
keepers last year out of sixty or eighty fish. Set the laws fairly for the whole east
coast.
Respectfully,
Thomas J. Donato
