the proposed changes make no sense and are not necessary at this point in
time. this fishery has become self regulated due other circumstances affecting
fishing in general. the weather is and has been changing affecting the number of
fishable days. The ECONOMY! (wake up) Price of fuel has crushed our ability
to afford fishing. loss of jobs homes financial security. everyone is in survival
mode . the fish are safe . the fishing is better than it has been in years. its not
broke , leave it alone . amendment 16 should be shelved for the foreseeable
future. these are deep water fishes requiring costly trips which we can no longer
afford. thank you for you consideration
