I oppose the current proposed changes to the Endangered Species Act (ESA)
because bureaucrats are not qualified to make scientific decisions. Bureaucrats
need to consult and rely on data gathered by scientists who have training in the
scientific method and interpretation of said data. It makes no sense to let
decisions be made by those that have their own agenda in mind.
Why not let drunks control the Department of Motor Vehicles, or food processors
run the USDA? Why not have illegal aliens in charge of immigration reforms?
Don't change the ESA. The endangered and threatened species of flora and fauna
in the United States need and deserve our responsible protection.
