There is no need to, and little benefit to be gained from reducing the recreational shallow-water group daily bag limit from 5 fish to 4 fish. Species of concern (gag and red) are protected by the 2 fish of each type per day limits proposed by Amendment 30B. Shallow-water recreational bag limit should remain 5 fish per day.
