As a resident of Alaska, and as a "sport" fisherman who fishes in order to put food on my table, I am really getting sick of being the one who is expected to cut back when stocks are low. Once again, the proposed regulations are to force the many to sacrifice for the good of the few. I really resent the bias against the public and in favor of the commercial interests. They take far and away the largest share of the resource. Comments from this group in the past indicated that they are somehow entitled to the resource, and they "let" us have a bit of it. I beg to differ, it is our resource, and they should be allowed to fish for only that part left after we, the general public, fill our freezers!
