the quota should be reduced this year from last year by 75%. and it should be reduced by l0% after that. profiteers have been marauders on this species and the species is endangered and virtually fished out like cod. the fish profiteers did that to cod. they intend to do that to every species on earth. and those fish belong to every citizen of this country, not to the profiteers who will kill them. the commercial fish profiteers also kill all marine life and birds when they take all of the fish. reduce what the commercial fish profiteers take. they make millions of dollars on each fishing venture. most of them need to be out of this business. noaa is a conflict of interest situation since it finances fishing boats - so it should not be making decisions on quotas at all. thee is a real conflict of interest situation going on. in addition, all people who sit on committees on this issue are filled only with profiteers. no environmentalists are ever chosen to sit on any committes connected with fishing profiteers. and what they steal from our oceans.
