I AM A 57YR OLD NATIVE OF FLORIDA. I HAVE FISHED ALL MY LIFE,
MOSTLY OFFSHORE. I WAS ONE OF THE FOUNDING FATHERS OF THE
CENTRAL FLORIDA OFFSHORE ANGLERS CLUB IN ORLANDO. I TAUGHT
SPORTFISHING FOR 7 YRS THOUGH THE COMMUNITY ENRICHMENT
CLASSES IN ORANGE COUNTY, AND WAS PRESIDENT OF THE CFOA CLUB
FOR 4 YRS. I LIVE ON THE WATER ON THE ICW RIGHT ACROSS FROM THE
SEBASTIAN INLET AND FISH OFFSHORE AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK IF NOT
MORE FOR BOTTOM FISH MOST OF THE TIME. I CAN TELL YOU THAT
FROM EXPERENCE THAT THE SNAPPER FISHERY IS IN GOOD SHAPE!!!!
WE LIMIT OUT ALMOST EVERYTIME WE FISH. I AM VERY CONSERVATION
MINDED AND IF I FELT THERE WAS A PROBLEM I WOULD AGREE WITH
SHUTING THE FISHERY DOWN, HOWEVER THE ECONOMY AND THE PRICE
OF FUEL HAS REDUCED FISHING PRESSURE GREATLY. CURRENT
REGULATION ARE WORKING. LEAVE THINGS THE WAY THEY ARE!!!!
