I do not believe that Catch-shares should be used for the recreational fishery. NOAA has effectively pushed the recreational fisherman out of the water with management decisions that are not in line with the original intentions of the MS act. Catch shares will only kill the working mans right to fish & give it to wealthy anglers that can afford to pay large fees & lottery entry prices. Another bad move by another gov't agency that has been polluted by the left wing agenda of environmentalist groups like PEW & Oceana. I look forward to the day when we can take our fisheries back from the organizations that would like to eliminate the recreational fishery altogether. Thumbs DOWN on catch shares!
