The proposed Snapper/Grouper closures are not based on real and current research and information. We fish out ofr several ports on the East Coast of Florida from the Middle Keys to Ponce Inlet at Daytone Beach. The Grouper and Snapper populations are very healthy with a welll established population of mature fish as well as young growing fish. If this protocol of establishing fishing rules without valid information contiues, it will be appealed to the senate and other political oversight entities to ensure correct fish population managemnt.
