I fully support protecting these wonderful Loggerhead Sea Turtles from being wiped out. I strongly urge their being listed as Endangered or Threatened. We have allowed enormous damage to be done to our waters and to our land. With very little time left to us, these magnificent creatures deserve our attention and protection. I have lived by the ocean all my life and have great appreciation for it and the creatures that live in it. I am tremendously saddened to read of the oil spillage and destruction in the Gulf. I, myself, have participated in oil clean-ups in San Francisco and south of San Francisco. Let's learn from the terrible mistakes we have made and show responsibility to the life that depends upon wise choices and care for the environment by us.
