Implementation of Fish and Fish Product Import Provisions of the Marine Mammal Protection Act

I strongly support your efforts to protect marine mammals through improving standards for importing fish from countries that follow appropriate practices. I also strongly support the adoption of a bycatch standard for importing fisheries comparable to those required for U.S. fisheries. Please reject pressure from domestic importers and foreign commercial interests to adopt standards weaker than those required for U.S. fisheries.
