Work to included such fishery products to be defined as "adulterated" imported foods as defined under the Food Drug and Cosmetic Act currently under revision by congress. Also along the lines of working closely with FDA, integrate this proposed NMFS import regulation with the new US FDA import monitoring program PREDICT system that would idetify such imported seafoods comng into the US through the US customes/FDA inspection system. Finally, also integrate this proposed rule's impliementation protocol with newly established US FDA overseas office efforts in capacity building with capture fishery's sgovernment regulators and industry partners abroad.
