i oppose vessel capacity limit ker@omb.gop.goincrease and purse seines should be outlawed. the american public has long complained about these environmentally destrutive fishing tools. the fish belong to the entire american public, not to this agency andnot to commercial fish profiteers. this agency has forgotten to support the entire american public and this agency has been regulatorily captured by those who you were set up to regulate. david_rostker@omb.eop.gov, needs to get a copy of these comments.this is 2010,not l949. the fish stocks have all been decimated by the management at this agency. what was law then cannot reasonably be considered accurate mgt in 2010. i see no reason for allowing any commercial profiteer to have 32 trips to catch fish that belogn to every citizen of the usa. these are excess quotas and are decimating fish stocks. i oppose longline, drift gillnet and harpooning of fish, which can feel pain. i wonder why you just dont consider the fact that fish feel pain in these calcualtions at all. you are ignorant of science. attn. rod mcinnes, heidi hermsmeyer and eric schwaab.
