to whom it may concern; I am owner and operator of two monkfish boats in montauk ny.i would like to go on record as opposed to the proposed amendment 5 plan for monkfish.the trip limits and das now in effect have been working for everyone involved,we all would be able to make a living and be able to make future business decisions with the regulations in place now.as a boat owner and operator i will not be able to survive in this bussiness with any more cutbacks or tighter regulations.the monkfish resource is in excellent shape and not being overfished .myself and all of our crewmembers rely on monkfish proceeds to provide for our familys .please consider the people involved not just rules and laws on a piece of paper, your science shows the resource is in good shape, please use it. Thank you:Brian Rade & Crew F/V Donna May F/V Kelly & Taylor
