This is comment on Proposed Rule

Greater Amberjack Management Measures

View Comment

I am adamantaly opposed to this proposed closure, for more reasons than I have time to declare in this comment box. For one, simply proposing this rule because there is "beleived" to be an increase in the number of amberjack caught in 2010 from 2009, absolutely does not give justification to warrant a closure! It should also be mentioned that there are many faults with the process used in accounting for the assessed quota, especially for recreational fisherman.
