It is very difficult for me to say I desire an amberjack closure in June and July. However, with the options that the public is given, I would recommend a June and July closure for amberjack. I do hope that this drastic measure is viewed closely by the Federal Fisheries. Closing the season in June and July should create a major reduction in the effort for amberjack. However, I do believe this is a very severe and drastic measure to take.
