weak hooks - longline overcatches of tuna - this is simply a sad attempt to keep on overcatching tuna in far too great amounts so that the species becomes extinct as so many other species have done under noaa management. dont ever forget that this agency works for commercial fish profiteers. in no way does it protect the general american public, who own the fish and who want fish in the ocean when their kids grow up. this will not happen with the sad fake noaa management. why would you have a heaaring outside of washington dc where all teh headquarters of environmental groups are - to get away from any of their comment undoubtedly - one of those hearing should be in washington dc. and make sure you send this proposal to sierra club, foe, humanelines, peta, idausa, greenpeace and seashepherd please. this agency has been mucking up saving our fish stocks for the past 60 years and the usa is in sad shape as a result of this horrific management of fish species.
