the incredibly complex mish mosh that noaa has set up for catching fish and to hide the overfishing that is going on shoudl be stopped. this is NOT what magnuson stevens bill is about. the people of american know that we do not want the fish overfished because then we are all in the position of easter island. all 325 million americans own those fish and you are managing them in the most lax, negligent way possible. noaa works only for commercial fish profiteers and you are allowing these commercial fish profiteers to decimate the fish in this site just like you did in the gulf of maine your biggest discovered failure to date. unfortunately, every environmental group knows that his agency is managing all sites exactly in that same devastating way as you managed the gulf of maine. we need to cut down the numbers of boats allowed to fish and we need to cut the quotas by 50%.fisstoh need to repopulate but your quotas are so high they can never do that. it is just a further incursion and loss year after year after year. this proposal stinks to high heaven. stop the overfishing.
