I feel that the proposed rule will allow for more timely information sharing which will allow for better enforcement of the Annual Catch Limit (ACL). Notably this will reduce vessels from exceeding limits set by law and other regulation and will bring more accountability and efficiency to the process with very little change in regulatory burden on vessels.
