I am in favor of lifting the closure of the area beyond the 240' foot depth that was inacted. this is an area which we do not often fish and has little fishing pressure BUT remains a vital part of our fisheries when we need to go there. many business commercial, for hire, and receational were all hurt by this closure and it adds to the job loss up and down the coasts. It is silly that you closed it in the first place and would help us some to reopen this area allowing for us to utilise this area when needed to continue our fishing. Lets face it guys the fishing pressure has gone down by over 50% and is continuing to spiral downward. opening this area back up will begin some of the healing process and show that maybe you really want to help keep our fishing industry from becoming an extinct spiecies in itself. Please reopen the area!!!
