Lobster trap area closures are long over due. As an avid scuba diver for the better part of 3 decades, I have seen countless traps resting on corals, their lines tight rubbing over coral heads, and abandonded line tangled in sensitive unwater habitats harming its inhabitants. Unfortunately the fresh traps disturbing corals is a yearly occurance and the ghost line disturbances year round. Frankly this is sickening.
