I strongly feel that including the Ribbon Seal on the endangered species list would be beneficial for the survival of theses beautiful and very cute creatures. It is a known fact that Global Warming is happening and as result the ice is melting in the Arctic. This ice is where these seals raise and protect their young. with the amount of ice diminishing. the seals are forced to look elsewhere when they want to escape the water. recently a ribbon seal was discovered on a woman's dock is Seattle WA very far from it's Arctic home. this seal was only scene once and now it is nowhere to be found. I just don't see why Polar Bears are endangered because of global warming but these seals are not. they are both affected and should both be treated equally. there really is no harm, only benefits, from protecting the Ribbon seal.
