Fisheries of the Exclusive Economic Zone Off Alaska: Groundfish Fisheries in the Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands Management Area

The protection of the Steller Sea Lions from the Alaskan groundfish fisheries is extremely important in attempting to rescue the Sea Lions from extinction. This EIS should be a top priority for reason that fisheries must be regulated in order to control their negative impact on the sea lions. Human economical impact can be curbed through alternative fishing methods. The exctinct Sea Lions' protection must come first.
