As a commercial fishermen this is one of very few topics we, NOAA and myself, agree on fewwer fish houses want amberjack and the quota has not been met in years. I see no harm in a slight reduction in amberjack quota. It may help drive prices up a little for us as well. I would also suggest to help with meeting quota that the fishery be opened year round. Also by lifting the 240' closure as we ( the public) where told was up for review, would help also. As most of my amberjack fishing is done in deep water, deeper than 240, where bigger amberjack are found in much larger numbers. Thanks Capt. Justin McIntosh F/V SEW WHAT
