millions of turtles are still dying because of the lax administration of this agency which is all about helping commercial fish profiteers destroy every last life in the sea. this is too little too late to be effective at all. rine all commercial fish profiteers who catch any turtle at all and who dont release it alive - fine them $200,000 per dead turtle and watch them on satellite. seize their boats so they cant fish anymore. se turtles are routinely killed by commercial fish profiteers. ban all trawling and longline nets. there should be no exemption for shrimp profiteers--that needs immediately elimination. its clear commercial fishing is killing all turtles. none of the stupid ineffective changes this agency has made have made one vit of difference in prolonging turtle lives. this agency needs to immediately ban skimmer nets. and the othe nets that kill turtles. we need quotas for fishing reduced by 50%. its clear that this agency works only for commercial fish profiteers, not at all for a safe and sound ecology.
