the TED regulations designed to protect the sea turtles are absolutely necessary & 250 years late. Enact laws to include Turtle Exclusionary Devices now. worldwide if possible...I know that insane japanese sea life assassins will be difficult to reason with. every species removed from the ecosystem changes that ecosystem. turtles eat sea grasses/weed/algae of different types. does the worlds oceans need a greater percentage of plant life floating around in it? I think not.
