I am a commercial fisherman under the rule of the NMFS so all of the changes in fishery rules have a direct link to any fishermen in the USA. The recent court order on the control dates that do not take into account of present participation in the fishery is a violation of the MSA in Sec. 303 . We must follow all of the MSA not just the parts that fit the current agenda of the head of NOAA to privatize our fisheries. They must stop selling the natural resources of our seas and let the actual fisherman continue as they have for hundreds of years. The misguided agenda under the overfishing farce is not one that can be held up under the proper science. We are just trying to make a living and not to make all the natural resources a commodity that is privately owned by people that have never fished a day in their life. They are trying to use control dates in the fisheries that I am in and the whole country is watching this and so is the IG.
