Taking a closer look at the by-catch from the commercial draggers might be a good place to start. This is one subject that seems to be ignored time and time again. Pulling up to a dragging boat after it has harvested a catch will make most ill by the hundreds if not thousands of pounds of their by-catch or "trash" as they call it is shoveled off the side of the boat. Technological as well as environmental improvements need to be implemented in the commercial fishing scene.
