On behalf of the more than 11 million members and supporters of The Humane Society of the United States (The HSUS), I am submitting the attached comments on your proposal for the 2013 Atlantic Shark Commercial Fishing Season. We support the proposals to keep the porbeagle fishing season and quota closed and to prevent carry-over of so-called under harvest of various species of sharks.
