i oppose exempting scallop fishery in any way. i note that vacation trips to portland me were provided to council members so they could vacation in maine. how wonderful that american taxpayers open their wallets to allow the washington federal bureaucracy to take vacation trips on american citizens wallets. i do not believe this action is necessary. i do not believe this is an emergency situation. i do not believe this action is in the best interests of the american people. this action hurts the american public, which does not want and is horrified at noaa creating overfishing zones all over the usa, so that nothing will be left in the seas when our kids grow up. we have a federal agency that is running away with itself, catering to overfishing by commercial fish profiteers.
