I would have like to seen this law implemented many years ago. In Calif. we have this law prohibiting the sale of Marlin. As a law enforcement officer, many cases are made each year for the illegal sale of marlin. In the past several years the marlin catch along the Calif. coast has been reduced to only a few fish each year for the last 5 years. I hope this new Federal law will bring the marlin population back to previous levels. Thank you, Ron Hoffman
