YOUR SCALLOP ALOCATIONS ARE MUCH TOO GENEROUS. ATTN EMILY GILBERT
AS TO 2014 ALLOCATIONS THEY SHOULD BE AS BELOW, NOT THE FAR TOO OVERCATCHING ALLOWED AS YOU PROPOSED:
OFL-CATCH SHOULD BE 20,000 MT
ABC SHOULD BE 15,000 MT
INCIDENTAL (NOT AT ALL INCIDENTAL) SHOULD BE 15.2 MT
OBSERVATION SHOULD BE CUT TO 115 MT
LA SHOULD BE 15,000 MT
LAGC SHOULD BE 954 MT
YOUR CATCHES ARE SO OVER THE TOP THAT THE MARINE LIFE IS STARVING TO DEATH. THEY ARE MADE TO USE FAR FAR TOO MUCH ENERGY TO FIND FOOD. YOU ARE STARVING ALL MARINE LIFE TO ALLOW THESE FAR TOO GREAT CATCHES. REDUCE THEM AND LET OUR ENTIRE MARINE LIFE LIVE.
